How do you find proof that someone is sabotaging your job?

My husband and I have someone calling every new job (and our previous carreers) and having us fired, sometimes before the start dates. We can not seem to find any proof and our "employers" are letting us go for reasons like "You work too much and we can't afford to keep you busy." Does anyone know how to legaly find proof and get this woman?

Yes, I can help. Someone that I know went through the same thing.

Hire a private Investigator. Some will do it for as little as 100.00 bucks. All you want to have them do is call for a reference on your job. You need to be specific on what to ask, such as: 1. You are verifying that you worked there. 2. Would you hire this person again. 3.Why or why not would you hire this person again. In some states, it is against the law to give negative and bad comments on someone previous employment. You are looking for the previous employer to say bad things about you. Basically... DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER... If they do, the private investigator can testify in court regarding this. You will win. Be very direct in what you want the PI to find out for you. And have him ask specific questions. Find out in your state if Defamation of Character is one of the reasons that you can take someone to court. Good Luck!
If you know who it is, tell the employer you are attempting to get on with that there is a nut job out there.

Your situation is very unusual, and the people in HR would probably watch your back in this situation. You're not getting hired because she is sabotaging you but because the employers think that somehow she will continue to bother you in the work place and be a distraction.

Contact a private investigator. They should be able to help you get "proof". When you get your proof, get a lawyer.
If you know who it is hire a PI, they will know what to do. Or hire a lawyer. If nothing works, give her a taste of her own medicine.
