How do you usually feel/act on ur first day of a new job?

Answer:
I can tell you that on my first day of a job I always felt like I had butterflies in my stomach, my hands shake, and I get a major headache....LOL
And I usually stayed pretty much to myself and concentrated on doing the best job I could.
A job is not a social gathering it is a place of business.
I feel great and I act really cool.
overwhelmed!
Very nervous And very nice. But just wait
lol, nervous as all hell.
It always is a little odd! You don't seem like you belong yet, but are excited at the same time!
I act as if everything I lied about in the interview was true
usually nervous but i try to act friendly and smile.be extra corteous to the coworkers..
starting a new job is one of the most stressful things a person can do.so they say. actually i like first days, it's the only day you get to be totally stupid
Scared, incompetent, and stupid. I have a new job coming up next Monday. I expect to feel all those things. But it gets better! I'm sure I'll act like I understand more than I really do!
Nervous! But try to keep smiling and keep my eyes and ears open, learn all I can.
Like a recluse. I want to get a feel for what kinds of people I work with and start to notice which ones I need to stay away from. Gossipers, Troublemakers, Tattle-Tales, Jealous people and nosy people.
I usually act enthusiastic and friendly. I think its important to make a good first impression to your new coworkers, but not be too overbearing or chatty. You don't want to give away your whole life story on the first day. I think a lot of good office relationships are based on trust, so the first day is a good way to plant a seed that will enable you to gain the trust of your coworkers.

Also, don't totally kiss your new boss' butt on the first day . you don't want to set yourself up as a brown noser. Tackle your first day assignments with a good attitude and make yourself available and willing to do what is necessary to get the job done.

You want to leave a first day impression that reaffirms your company's belief that they made the right decision and hired the right person. Sort of like instilling a sense of consumer confidence in your upper management.
I just had my first day at a new job a couple of weeks ago. I was nervous and excited all at the same time! I hadn't worked in 18 months, since my boy was born. so I was worried about him as well! All turned out OK though! I had a great first day, jumped right back into the swing of things, and am doing pretty darn good now! :-)
I just started a new job yesterday, I felt nervous and overwhelmed. There are so many coworkers for me to get to know, and so many things for me to learn, I thought I did an alright job my first two days. (today being my second day). I will finish the week and see how it goes, if I don't think it is a good fit for me I may have to look elsewhere. I hate being the the new person at work!
