Answer:
don't we don't want you, immigrants cost us to much money and screw up all our benefits.
Sneaking across the border seems to be popular
Despite the difficulty of immigrating, it is still possible to get to the US. One way I have found many friends to have done is to first immigrate to Canada, staying a few years, before getting a green card to immigrate to the US.

Another way you can try is to look for big architecture businesses (sorry, I don't know any but you can look online), and submit a portfolio of your work to them. If they are very impressed, you may be lucky enough to get a sponsor from that company and they may help you get to the US. Also try submitting a portfolio to major architecture universities or have great architecture/engineering programs such as University of Southern California, New York University, Columbia University, California Polytechnic of San Luis Obispo are just a few you can try.

Anyways good luck to you, and hope you make it here.
All you really have to do is visit Mexico, and then cross the border with all of the other illegal aliens who come into our country every day of the week. Then all you have to do is have a child in the United States, who will automatically become a U.S. citizen. Then, you will also have a family relationship with an American citizen. Simple, huh?

Id like to see that happen!
Build something in your own country, We have enough architect's here! Stay with your family!
immigrate to your own back yard and.blah yadda do!
Visit the country first and make connections then if you like what you see then make it official.
The US has a yearly quota of legal immigrants. China is one of the countries where very few people are allowed in as legal immigrants. Probably the Chinese the US lets in are from Taiwan, mostly. Other Chinese (men and women) marry Americans and gain immigrant status that way. However, the vast majority of Chinese in America probably are illegal immigrants smuggled into the country (for anywhere from 10,000 to 50,000 USD--about 80,000 to 400,000 RMB).

If you enter the US as an illegal, you have very little if any chance of ever working in your chosen profession and will probably have to work in low-pay jobs all your life. If you were to immigrate legally, you would still have problems getting a job as an architect, for example, because the US wants US-or Western-trained architects. Very few legal immigrants get jobs in their chosen fields (though they can start businesses).

If you want to enter the US and also work as an architect, your best bet would be to go to work for a US-owned company as an outsourcer or employee, then maybe get sent to the US for further study or for training. However, this is best done by people with computer skills, for example. I think a Chinese architect will have a difficult time ever finding work as an architect in the US because Chinese standards aren't as good or high as US standards. I've seen many beautiful buildings in China, beautiful on the outside, but the internals of the buildings are far below US standards and many of them work extremely poorly. Plumbing, design, electrical, and other features of Chinese aprtments, for example, are terrible and non-functional in many cases.
