Should I have been fired on my first day of work?

i started a new job today. I thought I would establish some cameraderie with my coworkers, so I went up to my boss' desk and turned my back to him. I arched my back at about 45 degrees and unleashed a spray of methane onto his area; the sound a low vibration followed by a high-pitched squeal. I thought this is how I am supposed to act with my fellow guys at work. The boss did not find it funny and told me to pack up and ship out. What gives? Can I sue him?

Answer:
Not only was it not funny, it seems as if you need some professional help.

and no you cant sue him. when you start a new job you are on 90 day probation and they can let you go for any reason.
lmaoooooooo
WTF is wrong with you?
I don't know who raised you, but farting at your boss is a surefire way to not be allowed in the building ever again.

You cannot sue him because of the 90-day probationary period most jobs have on new employees.
lmfaoooooooooooooooooo well thats 1 way to get sack boss needs to get a sence of humour and some thing tells me you wont get a payout just look for another job where you will fit in a bit better thumbs up from me lol
Well I guess not! Every time you apply for a job and get selected you have what it calls a notice period (probation time). This is a certain period of time that allows you to see if you really like the job and decided to stay or leave or if your employer is happy with your performance. It varies from company to company and as far as I know it's never one day! So he is in is right to send you home specially after you did what you did (Are you crazy man, on your first day of work?). If I was you I would stay very quite because if not you are do one to sue!
Not only should you have been fired, you should have never been hired in the first place! lol. Seriously though, it is obvious that you are bored and that you completely made up this question. Come back and visit us when you have a "for real" legitimate question.
