What are some high demand careers in the science field these days?

Im a college student with a major in Life science...I was just wandering what some people thought were good career ideas what some options for a possible grad school would be that maybe involves working outside, decent pay...and lots of oppurtunity..thank you :)

I want to be an actuary. I passed the first actuarial examination and I am sitting for the second actuarial examination this May. An entry level position starts anywhere from $50k to $60k. Most successful actuaries make 6 digits.
