I'm shy, but not horribly shy, is it bad that I'm majoring in human resources?

Not necessarily. Shy people need interviews too. They will be able to relate to you. Besides, doing the activities involved in the major may help you to grow out of your shyness. If grow out is indeed the appropriate term at all. We live in a weird world anyway, anybody with any sense would be shy. You can't be all that shy if you posted on Yahoo Answers.
No.I've always been shy but became a teacher and feel very comfortable talking in front of others now. I'm still shy in certain situations but you'll gain more confidence in your new career. It'll be good for you!
I don't think it's bad. You have to get over being shy for any job--because, remember, you have to interview for ALL of them. Maybe during your college education, you will grow into the HR role and grow out of being shy.
no not at all. i was shy to. then in middle school i started to hang sround with guys alot. not to date but just to find who i reall was deep inside. i later found out that i was a funny girl. i mean you need to over coe that. but once your shy your always shy. this is wat i always say "why be shy. jump around, cry, laugh loud, make a stupid face, no one is going to kill me over it." think of this being shy just holds you back remember lifes to short to stay hidden.
