How do you write a thank you note to a person that just interview with you?

I just came from an interview and I would like to send a thank you note, but I have never written one. I need ideas on how to write one.

Answer:
(Interviewer's name)
I wanted to take a moment for the opportunity to interview for the (job) position with (company). I feel priviledged that you thought my resume was worth considderation and I hope that I'll hear from you soon.
Thank You
(Your name)

Simple, professional, coureous and hopefully with better spelling than I typically post with here.
You don't!
SINCERELY
I DONT THINK YOU SHOULD.. NOT MANY PEOPLE LIKE A BROWN-NOSER. HE/SHE MAYBE THE ONE THAT DOESN'T YOU NEVER KNOW.
I have no idea why you would listen to any of these people. It is very professional to send a thank you note as a followup to an interview.
Always thank your interviewer for taking the time to meet with you. Add in how you remain very interested in the position and always end with reasons why you believe you would succeed in the role you have applied for.
Lastly offer the interviewer an opportunity to discuss your qualifications further should he/she wish to do so.
Good Luck!
Something like,

Dear ____, Thank you for the opportunity to meet with you and discuss the position. Upon our interview, I feel strongly that my qualifications and experience make me an ideal candidate, and I am excited at the prospect of joining your team.

Sincerely,
You

Good luck!!
