What's the best way to quit your job?

I will be graduating this August with a Bachelors degree in Marketing. I do not have any work experience in the marketing field and have been secretly looking for employment with other companies. While my boss and coworkers are great people and fun to work with, my job is dead-end with low pay. (I am a single mother and cannot afford to stay there much longer.) I want to let my boss know my intentions of leaving soon and am not sure how to tell him. Please help!

Answers:
Don't tell them. When you find your new job, kindly inform the new employer that you'll be available in two weeks. Go immediately from the new employers job offer and head to your current employer with a two week notice, nothing personal, just got a better offer.
Wait 'til you land a job. Give him a two-week notice. Most places will allow you to wait two weeks before beginning work.
If you like to tell them, i would recommend you to write them a letter and give them a 2 week notice that you will be leaving. That is a professional way to let the manager(s) weither or not your leaving. Explain in your letter that you just graduated with your Bachelors degree and will be working in Marketing.
tell you manger
I cant do better than iv read. except to say dont just quit. alwayse give notice if you can.
Hi

Just be professional and honest. You don't have to give reasons just file your intention to quit/resign giving the required notice in your contract of employment.
It will stand you in good stead with any futrue employers too!

You make sure that you have everything that your going to do after quiting in line so no problems arise and then place in your two weeks notice. Quiting out of a workplace not planned can be very dangerous.
I wouldn't say anything until you actually have another job.

Then tell him that you found a job with better pay, good benefits, and a chance to advance. You've enjoyed your time with the currant company but you need to do what's best for you and your child.

Make sure to give two weeks notice though. It's up to your boss whether or not he takes it, he could tell you thanks for your time, you can leave now. Or have you work the two weeks. Either way you made the attempt. And that's what counts. Potential employers do think about that kind of stuff.
Quitting job is very common, so you do not need to make up good stories for it. Remember, this is a business decision, nothing personal. I am sure your boss and coworkers are good people, but at the end of the day we still need something called money.

DO NOT tell boss anything about you are looking for new employment until you actually landed on the new job. It is industry standard to give two weeks notice to your current employer, so your new employer will understand this.
