What are the career oppotunities for studying information systems?
Answers:
a lot of ppl will hire you for an IT position, because EVERYONE assumes that IS is the same as CS.
...anyway, the positions for us IS ppl are systems analysts, systems consultants, etc
God bless... so many.. I had quit college about a year back, but I'm fixin to go to ITT tech this fall. I HATE school, but I'm going to go. That's how good the opportunities are.

IT is the main thing the fat cats outsource. Mr. Billy Gates won't hire Americans. Mr. Billy wants offshore help. So, I'd say, in America the IT industry is offering a very limited chance in entry-level opportunities with so much competition coming from fresh-trained talent, that to comtemplate a life-long career past age 29 is unrealistic.
