Having been in your situation a little while back I looked into a LOT of programs, some of which were scams (a good many), some of which paid but not enough to make it worth your time, and a very few that actually worked.
Be wary of programs that want you to pay a large start-up fee. Read thoroughly their terms of service and make sure they are going to be offering you a service worth that fee.
In resources I will list a few of the companies that I've found to actually pay worth the time I put into them, they are paying for reading e-mails (or clicking through at least).
Keep in mind that not every program will work for you and be selective. Track the results you get from each program.

Consider writing ebooks, or setting up a web based home business as an affiliate. There are no fees for affiliates. It will take a lot of time and effort but there is good money in this if you do it right.

Being completely up front and honest here.there is a $50/mo Broker fee you do have to pay. But, with that fee.you get access to their endless training, sales leads, sales kit to get you started and more information about health benefits so you are knowledgeable in your product. As far as looking for work at home be careful. A lot of them are scams, I know I've been there. Use search.bbb.org to research all companies by name, address, or url. And look out for the name change game. If a company has changed their name they are running from a bad rep. and if they don't come up with the BBB they most likely are a scam or so new I wouldn't risk it.
