Criminal background check?
When I was 14 years old, I was caught stealing and was charged with a misdemeanor and had to do community service and such.
I've always put under my applications that I have never gotten a felony/misdemeanor. I heard that criminal records like misdemeanors will get erased once you turn 18. I was wondering if companies do a background check, will they find out what I did when I was still a kid?

Good morning to you. I would say that even when we think our information is sealed and confidential...there's people who still can tap into the past and find out what they want. If the company however, doesn't want to pay the cost of digging that far in the past, they will probably be satisfied with what they see withing the last 7-10 years ago. I commend you on your honesty and pray that you come out just fine on your job search. Don't worry about anything, cause if they have to stoop that far into the past and still critisize you, you don't need that company anyway. Be good!
I doubt it. Juvenile records are sealed.
It should not be on your record if you were a juvenile and if it is it you still should not be denied of a job because of it.
JV sealed as the person said. You paid your debt and now just keep it it yourself.
