Overperform!
Whatever your job is, do it well and go beyond this. Don't worry about working over or more spending more time working. You'll need to spend more time for the same amount of pay to really shine. Everyone likes a bargain.
Also, always take care of your boss. Make the boss look good and they'll take you along during their next promotion. A great boss will see how good you are and help mentor you to even exceed themselves.
My last raise was a 45% increase, plus equity and bonus.
A good education, a lot of hard work, common sense, and a little luck.
Don't ever think you are better than anyone else. Be nice to everyone.you never know when people will help you get ahead.
Efficiency. Allows you to come in late and go home early, all while getting more done than everyone else.
One secret is that I enjoy what I do.
Personal development. Mold yourself into what you envision your life to be. Always keep one eye on the prize and enjoy the journey. Avoid the drama. Keep a level head and lead, never looking back.
