Can you make money online with surveys?

I am not a big fan of paying fees to get started. I try to find places that will let me join without fees. I am always looking for more ways to make money from home. My best option has been through companies that pay to read emails and to do surveys.
Most pay you anywhere from a few cents to a couple of dollars at a time. By doing a few different ones you can get a fair amount. I'm not talking thousands, maybe just $10-20 a month.
These listed below are some that I am just starting to use. They seem legit and don't ask for cc numbers, etc. I haven't earned enough for a payment yet (just started a few days ago)

This one pays you to read emails, it is pretty easy. Just click the email and wait a few seconds and it will credit your account.

These are survey sites. These ones have actually paid me with either checks or pay pal deposits.
www.mysurvey.com --this one gives reward points and when you get 1000 points you can request $10.00 checks. You can also get other rewards if you want those (cash is the best though :) It usually ranges from $1-2 per survey; some are $10 and last a little longer. Those ones usually ask you to update a simple journal periodically.
www.globaltestmarket.com -this one gives reward points and when you get 1000 they send you $50.00 checks, they aren't as easy to get as the mysurvey ones but they are worth more.

-this one puts money in to a survey account and as soon as you have money there you can request a check. I have ordered a check for as little as $3.00 so far. The typical survey ranges from $2-$5.
The best thing to do is sign up for all of them and do the surveys. It isn't hard, you won't become a millionaire but it is free (they don't ask for credit card numbers, etc.) and easy

there are legitimate companies that ask questions, but they don't pay, they also don't ask you to subscribe to stuff. surveyspot.com, marketsurveys.com are some examples, marketsurveys will show you ads at the end but not require you to click on any. I never do.

Pine Cone Research is a good one. But you have to come across one of there promo banners to sign up. Or sometimes they will be looking for certain people like new moms that are in there 20's and people that are already a member can refer you.
I use http://www.mysurvey.com/ They email me surveys now and then and you earn points. Not a ton of point but when you reach 1000 points you earn $10.00. Sometimes they send you products to test out at home. They sent a full size bottle of bathroom cleaner, Dishwasher cleaner, heat patches. So if anything I got free stuff. Never had to deal with being bombarded with spam or offers from other companies. You also don't pay to sign up.

I earned $20.65 few months ago. It's not a lot, but easy money by filling out some surveys.I only did 100% free ones which worth about $0.50 each. If you really get into this, you will earn hundreds of real cash and that's what I am tring to do after I get paid and actually believe this.
I didn't believe it first time, but was so bored and wanted earn some money and they paid me after I reached $20.00.

Yes, you can but difffecult to get steady income. When u are planning for a home based online business, be very careful because most of them are scam and ask you to pay initial money. never pay money to any such site. Did you ever heard that if u r going for a job and employer ask you for money before hiring? But there is nothing called free lunch and you have to work if you want to make more and more money. When i said $500, i meant in a month, if you will work hard even if you can make $1000.. it all depends on your usage pattern. How u get money is through posting a discussion and replying to discussion. I worked for 1 hour daily last month and i got paid $156 for the last month. Its not bad after all, i am happy and making more
A lot of the survey sites are indeed scams. There are, however, a few legit sites out there, such as

They charge absolutely no signup fee, and you can get started immediately. It's no full time job, but it's great cash on the side, I recommend it, there's no risk at all. I made over $90.00 my first month, was a little skeptical at first, but then my check came in the mail, just as promised.
Just make sure any sites you join don't ask for cash up front, if they are legit, they shouldn't need that to make money. Large companies actually do have large marketing research budgets that allocate money to paying for consumer surveys like this.
