Start first with the question, "What am I really passionate about?" That is a starting point. You will perform better at a job that you love doing as opposed to one where you are only in it for the paycheck.
do something that you like and it will bring you money
Look into the Sunday New York Times ( Jobs) section National Employment Bulletin,The Chief or any local news papers ; every things based on your resume, past experience if any you have,or a freshman.Be a politician that's a best Job.
I disagree with the go with your passion sentiment. I have seen people go into career failure because they followed their childhood dream. My recommendation is to do temp work with the specific intention of working in several different companies in several different departments. Note the work that goes on in these places and if any of it appeals to you at all. Notice things that could be improved and suggest things. In short - make yourself useful and do something that you don't hate too much and will earn you a good living. Leave the "I wanna be a ballerina" BS to the self-help trash heap.
By figuring out what gets you out of bed the best in the mornings, if you can't wait to do something, want to know all you can about it, then you know. Also try different jobs, explore, go on lots of adventures, then you will get to know yourself and what you want to do for a living. If it is digging ditches or being a CEO, its the happiness of doing the job that counts.

Well, you have to ask yourself."what can I do, and am good at"? Will I like what I do? Will I be happy at what I do? Let me ask you, what was your idea as a kid.when you grow up, what you always wanted to be? That bus dirver who took you to school.try getting into the driving industry.that news guy on TV.try the newspaper/reporter field.maybe even that nice lady at the grocery store.the retail/food industry. It's about, and I believe is what you like to do and are happy.the money will soon follow thereafter.good luck!
