start an escourt service?
Is there anything you can make that people would want to buy? Any service you can perform that you can charge for? Housecleaning, dog walking, making meals for busy families, etc.
I think the best thing you can do is Ebay. Not only is it easy but it can be fun to. You won't ever be rich but it will make you some money and give you something to do in the mean time.
looking for one myself. don't do stuffing envelopes. they are no good. they don't pay. they say free and you land up having to buy letters and envelopes and stamps and send it out and never get paid.
Have you looked into a position as a "medical transcriptionist" ?
They do a lot of work from their home.
Babysitting, pet walker or sitter. Since Christmas is coming up soon. Maybe you could offer a gift wrapping service for busy people who don't have the time. Typing is also something you can offer to do for students. They don't usually like to type and have lots of term papers, research papers and such due. Another idea, set up an account with an on-line auction and auction off stuff you no longer use. You will get more than just giving it away or selling it in a yard sale. Good luck finding something.
i would buy and sell (trade) on e bay
also invest in the stock exchange/
doing work for doctors and lawers, they are allways needing someone to do typeing for memoes. please over look my spelling.but typing is a good job. and you can do it all from your home. good luck.
Just Be Mom play with your kids, really thats the best job there is in life ^_^
Depending on where you live you could try babysitting. I'm trying to get started doing that myself so I can spend more time with my boy (I currently work 40 to 60 hours a week & feel like I'm missing so much)! Advertise in your neighborhood or near local employers. Also check your state's requirements to see if you need any special certifications or training. Good luck!
Hi, Here are a couple of links for you to check out. The first is totally free to join and the webpage is all set up for you. All you have to do is promote your site. The address is http://www.cajuncountrygifts.com/go.cgi?.

This one there are links on the right hand side of the page to click on to listen about the company. There are a lot of SAHMs that like this company because it allows them to make the extra income they are looking for and still stay home with their children. The address is http://www.wonderful.arbonne.com.
Hair cutting.
Do it when you want, don't when you don't. Charge as much as you like. You'll always have friends and neighbors who need a good trim so you'll never run out of work. That's a portion of the reason I'm in school for it. Put my husband through school now, work at nicer salons. Then take it easy when I have kids and do it at home when I have time or want extra money.

Nails likewise are an easy one.
But you don't need a license to do it in most states, and only need to take one or two classes to learn how to do it. You can charge less then the little nail shops and still make a good $10-$20 per hour.

You can try ebaying something you have access to alot of.
like old library books on sale for 50cents. I know a lady that makes an extra $200 a month doing that. It's low risk and fairly easy to figure out.

If you can, you could start a simple local website and get local advertisers. It would only be the initial start up that could be challenging.

Here's a unique idea (I know a lady in Texas does this). Make ''welcome'' baskets for new people moving into the area.
But info brochures and what not about the area and it's business. Have a cute little treat or something. Keep track of how many people you do it for and all the stats you can get (IE: if they liked your suggestions for local dentists and decided to use one of them) approach the local businesses with your statistics and ask if they would like to ''advertise" with you (in a manner of speaking). The lady in Texas that does this makes serious bank now and has only been doing it for a couple years. You could as much into it as you want to get out of it.

Hope those were some useful suggestions or at least got you thinking about what will work for you. My biggest suggest is to try and find a need in your community and find a way to fill the gap.
You'll always find a way to make money where there's a need.

Talk to people and you'll find where there are gaps, like at my school we only get 20Min's for dinner only 3 restaurants close enough to eat from. We would kill to have someone come by with rolls, soup, sandwiches, whatever! once in a while for a change of menu. And we would pay good money for it too!
You could do home daycare or on line job
I have three kids and I am a consultant for Thirty-One Gifts. I really love their stuff and it's a lot of fun. You can check it out if you're into this kind of thing:

I also sell handmade greeting cards and Santa Letters at craft shows. The santa letters do really well.

Having been in your situation a little while back I looked into a LOT of programs, some of which were scams (a good many), some of which paid but not enough to make it worth your time, and a very few that actually worked.

Be wary of programs that want you to pay a large start-up fee. Read thoroughly their terms of service and make sure they are going to be offering you a service worth that fee.

In resources I will list a few of the companies that I've found to actually pay worth the time I put into them, they are paying for reading e-mails (or clicking through at least).

Keep in mind that not every program will work for you and be selective. Track the results you get from each program.

Good luck finding the one(s) that works best for you!
Hi! I am a single stay at home mom of 2 girls. My youngest is disabled so I needed to find a way to make money from home. I tried all the the taking surveys, advertising clickbank stuff on google ppc, basically everything and none worked.

Now I have my own site: http://www.homebusinessesthatprofit.com. which I love. I offer a free 325 page e-book on the Science of making money. It's entitled Dotcomology if you want to download it, just click on that. I have a free newsletter as well if you are just interested in a few tips.

I also teach others how to get their own website that is 100% ready to pull in massive residual income like mine. It will be yours and you will own it. You will get step by step instructions on how to make your new site profitable, and I am always available along the way if you have any other questions. Visit below to learn more:
http://www.homebusinessesthatprofit.com/.

If you are truly interested in making money online I would encourage you to at least check out this opportunity. It is powerful, and best of all you get to be your own boss. It is totally legitimate to own your own website, and all opportunites on my site can be checked with the BBB.

Best Wishes,
Alicia

*Another program you could try for free is http://www.mylot.com/?ref=there4u. They pay you to answer and ask questions and never charge you a dime to do it.

Or http://www.inboxdollars.com/?r=lee3kan. They pay you $5.00 to join. Get paid by answering surveys, reading e-mails,completing offers, and referring friends. Payout is at $30 which is easy to reach here. Also free to join and use.
I found a work at home company is good standing with the Better Business Bureau. I'm with Stayin Home and Lovin It! and they are partnered with a wellness company that is 21 years old. If you are looking for a full income to live on from day one it is not for you. It takes a few months to work up to an income you can live on and depends on how well you can do it. No get rich quick thing, but completely ligit and flexible. I am not a mom, but the woman who brought me to this company is a stay home mom of 2 and loves this and is doing very well at it. I have physical limitations that prevent me from having a job outside the home, so this has been great. All you really need is the internet and a basic understanding of it, nothing high tech, and a phone. There's no selling door to door, no cold calls, no big investment, and no risk. You can not lose anything if you give it a chance. They give great training, tips, and constant support. I am not alone, they really care and want you to make money. You can check out my website at http://healthybetterme.com/
There is no risk in trying it to see if it will work for you.

Just a little advice in searching for a work at home company. I was scammed so many times before finding this and I would like to let you know a few things I learned.

search.bbb.org is great to look up any company by name, address, or url. Watch out for the name change game. Most companies change their name to excape their bad reputation so they may not come up on the site because they are newly named. I wouldn't trust any company that the BBB doesn't know about. Good Luck and be careful.
