What is the best residual income producing sales career?

I'm looking to start a career and I'm an excellent salesman, I would like ideas of career paths that produce residual income. Thank you to everyone that contributes.

Answer:
Probably insurance. If you become an agent for one of the major car insurers you'll be rolling in money in no time, with residuals that last forever.
