Yes, you will always find people who will pay for convenient services. After all people pay others to walk dogs, mow their lawn and clean their house. so why not other things too. It's a great idea and best of luck with it.

I'd love to, but don't really have the money to hire someone to do it. I'd want this person to be bonded so I knew they had insurance.
Light house keeping, evening meal. I cant cook to save my life and house keeping would give me more time with my kids.

I always pay to have things done for me. Sometimes it's not even a matter of not wanting to do them as much as not having the time.
I think it would be ideal to provide a service where people moving could call you to house sit and wait on the cable guy, utilities, phones, etc. The other thing I would consider is somehow being licensed or bonded, and I would certainly have some sort of agreement spelling out what services your providing so everyone's clear.
Ofcourse, I will and many people too. Different people have different job and even priority among them. Some people dont like some work but they need it to be completed. Some person who have more earning potential, give there works to other person and saves their time and earn money and pay to that person a part of it.
That's what is called DELEGATION in management.
You can get the work of other persons in following situations :
1) Routine and daily work i.e. laundry, cleaning, shopping.
2) When someone dont have much time to do important work, that person will delegate less important work to other person like u i.e. typing, correspondece, repairing.
3) Some people have so much stressed job that they even can'nt do their important work at their home i.e. child care, pet care, bring children from school, etc. These typws of work involve emotional attachment, therefore for ththese reliable person is hired. It depends on ur skill to get this type of work.
I pay for typing, net surfing, downloading, cooking, laundry, cleaning, visiting out of city, sending important documents, washing car, paying my various bills and much more.
