I HAVE QUESTION,answer please?
Answer:
No, I wouldn't think so. The law degree doesn't really help a great deal in the engineering field. It would be nice, but most companies take as little as possible into consideration when paying employees more than the average for a particular job, especially if the jobs or education don't interrelate quite a bit.
no your nuts
it depends the company, if the company doesn't need your law degree then why should they pay you for it?
NO. if your 'degree' is not in a Field in which you are employed, they do not have to. they technically dont have to pay you for the degree you have as an engineer.
They don't have to pay you more if you become their maid as a night job.
hay dude 9,000 dollars your lucky keep the job
I would be thrilled to get paid what you make! I guess you are lucky to have such a high paying job. There are people who are looking for jobs, people losing jobs everywhere. I guess what I am saying is we ALL wish we were paid better no matter what type of education we have, but just having a job that pays is better than standing in an unemployment line. I only make 1/3 of that a month on a good month!
Please , wake up and smell the manure. Your employer does not have to pay you any thing. Degree or not.
As for a law degree congratulation, if you can combine your electric with law and your employer has a use for your skills then you might get more money. As for jumping ship don't until you have your bills all paid for
plus 6 - 8mths operating expenses in the bank. Lawyers are really a dime a dozen.
