I'm trying to decided what Information Technology field I want to go into.?
I already know about Onestopcareer.com, Careerbuilder.com, all about the Government sites and Onet.com. I need a brief summary of how the courses required is applied to a specific field of interest and it's cross over to other related fields. I would greatly appreciate your assistance as soon as possible. Resource sites, knowledge based, directories, IT search engines what ever you have just throw it out there.
Answer:
I went to college for cert 4 in it with a legally blind person. He concentrated his efforts in a help desk field.
He is now employed by dell computers at home helping people with verbal problems with their systems.
Well with such a vague criteria mentioned the only thing I can give is the course I am going through. I am getting my Bachelors in Electronics And Communications Engineering. This course will allow me to build or design Electronic components as well as work on cell phones, radio stations, satellites, or just service out existing equipment for the military or private sector.
i dont think getting into an IT field is a good idea if you are legally blind. you need your eyes for EVERYTHING! programming, database, and networking are completely out of the question. .i dont want to tell you that you cant do something because maybe you could somehow make it work. but i dont see how. if youve only got one shot i would pursue a degree in another field. good luck.
