Is this being polite or being feminine?

I had a college student friend from school who said I was "feminine but don't be offended". He said it was the way I talk and act, and that I "wasn't aggressive". I'm a boy who is usually polite and soft spoken in school but this is the first time I have heard someone call me feminine.

Does that college student mean I'm a girl or just that I have polite characteristics? What do you think?

Sounds like you had a mom that raised you right. Dont be offended. At least you are not some gross guy that burps and farts for attention. Be proud of your politeness. Some girl will be lucky to find you!

im not really sure, it all depends on the way he said it and how well that yall have known each other.it all depends.
There is nothing wrong with being polite and soft spoken, but if you are a man, then you should be ready to compete in life with men you a little more bullish. It's just the nature of most men to be competitive.
friend used the wrong word, assertive and polite, respectful and basically a nice person. i do not think he meant any harm, just picked the wrong word.
