He has been honest when applying but is getting frustrated. I hope he doesn't go back to his old ways for himself as well as his son's

Answer:
It depends from state to state, so why don't you call your local State Attorney's office and ask for "sealment and expungments" division. They should be able to give you more info. You can get in touch with local lawyers and see if they can do something, here is the usual fee of $800

Good Luck!
Too bad he committed a felony in the first place, now I guess he has to pay the price.
The only way he can reverse the charge is by getting a lawyer, and fighting the county that charged him, If they can find miss conduct in the way the handled the case, ya, but it will cast up to 20 thousand in fees to the Lawyer, if he wants to fight for him.
But he can have his case reviewed, for free to see if he can do it.
He needs to find a way to be self employed
appeal to the courts for a clear record thats the only way.
get a lawyer and try and have it es ponged. very costly and not a 100% guaranteed
