How many people are not really living their life?

How many people are caught in the "matrix"? You wake up every morning, go to work, come back home and do it all over again. How many of you are just going through your routines and not living out your dreams?

Answer:
So many people live like that. Even I fell into that rut like monotony. By the time you turn around, your roots are silver, wrinkles that came out like a cat on fire. Even your teeth are becoming optional. Why did I stop writing poetry and looking to the clouds? I finally said no more. I wasn't born a carbon copy of anyone else, so why am I allowing my dreams to fade like sun faded wallpaper. I am trying to get something going so I can move back east, enjoy my life instead of what's expected, or getting everyone elses life and dreams on a roll. If you don't take a chance, then you will lose the last remnants of the daring and fearless kid in you. Sharon

I am living my dream, learning is my "work". And thanks to the Internet I can do it whenever.

I am retired with enough to provide for my needs and little pleasures.
Well, I do more than that, but I also don't know what my dreams are either. I use to think if I had security I would be happy. Now I am just happy to be alive.

the majority of people on this earth live their lives in "familiar" terms. more people need to step outside our comfort zones and experience something, anything that excites us.
I'm not. I'm stuck. But I do have a light at the end of the tunnel. It just seems too far away. But I'll hang in there and acheive my goals in a couple of years.

the bills gotta be paid and unfortunately dreams and ideals are something you may have to sacrafice to pay the rent and eat. However, maybe you should just appreciate the fact you have stable employment and can enjoy your own time after work.
