Why so many churches yet a whole lot of immorals going on? is our God immoral ?
Answer:
Perhaps if we had more churches, then we could weed out all evil. You are thinking about it wrongly.
they do not worship the one and only yhwh.
they worship the church.
Be careful how you ask that question!
Well, you know, that's not a very good question. But I only have so much to work with. I assume you're saying--- Assuming that God and Church are basically the same thing, and assuming that behavior is the result of contact with the being/institution of God, then our actions are the intended consequences of God's will. Therefore, if we act bad, it's cuz God wants us to.
Personally, I'm an atheist. It works for me. But if I weren't, I'd answer the question like this: If you define morality based on what God has specifically asked of humanity in the Bible, then no, of course God isn't immoral. If it were true, it would be as if God commanded you to act one way, then convinced you to act in the opposite way.. That's silly. Remember, good and bad are subjective. God defines morality (goodness), and all things opposite of that are immoral (badness). Saying God is immoral is like saying water is dry. Morality is a fundamental aspect of God. He cannot be immoral. However, you can. Given that you have a choice, and being immoral is way easier than being moral, you'll probably take the easy road.
As an atheist, I'd say that church is just a social organization, no different from the old men who sit around and chain smoke at the donut shop every morning. So if you want to figure out what it all means, you're better off getting away from people for awhile and deciding on that for yourself. If you're still reading-- thanks. This response was way too long.
