Do you think a person with a master's degree and a felony from ten years ago will be able to find a well?
Answer:
it's hard for a lot of people to find jobs without that mark on their background, but good luck :-)
define well paying job. maybe a business would be easier to start
Yes, I believe so
Find a well?
What kind of well?
Oil well? Water well?
possibly but better opportunties overseas
To tell you the truth I worked for a large corporation and did hiring and firing and basically their is a turnoff when the felony box is checked, but explaining it helps so much. Be honest with the reason for the felony because they can easily look that up, and if you lie than there goes your integrity and chance at the job. Good luck!
i don't think so. No matter his degree, he is an ex-convict and nobody will want to employ such a person. What he can do is to go into personal business or form a non - governmental body in order to bring body and soul together.
I've always felt that people make mistakes and once your debt to society is paid, you should be able to function and take advantage of opportunities like anyone else. Unfortunately, not everyone shares my way of thinking. Your master's degree tells me that you have something to offer, therefore, I would consider a home business. They are inexpensive to start, usually under $200, and in my case, you get top of the line mentoring and training. With this you can start creating leverage and build residual income, something that is impossible to do as an employee. If you were to find a job to pay the bills while you are building, and really applied yourself to your business, it is not unreasonable to surpass any income you might have within a year.less if you really put your mind to it.
Something to consider.
