Has anyone else noticed how whenever the subject of sushi is brought up everyone gets excited?

You can eat bait if you want to but I don't care to hear about it at the office or anywhere else because it's disgusting to eat raw fish.
Sure. Most people think the idea of putting raw once alive creature in their mouth is crazy. People don't know what it tastes like but assume it must be most vile. I enjoy sushi and good for me because I live in Japan! the best is honmaguro
this happened to me today i was talking with some people in a polite conversational way every one was bored when someone said he didn't know what to have for dinner when one girl said she wanted to get some sushi and then everybody perked up and couple of them were disgusted by raw fish and the other one said he loves sushi but he can't find any good sushi in this town.other was going on and on about vegie sushi with cucumbers and avocado .and then somebody else got on the subject of wasabi.everybody started laughing and making pretend they had wasabi in their noses
This is because everyone thinks it's cool to eat sushi, so you get people that claim to love sushi, but all they eat are california and cucumber rolls..It's a cult for lame people who are devoid of personality. For others it's just another enjoyable meal that gets them away from the boring american fare of Applebees and Chilis.
Sorry dude, never had that problem. Probably because I work with real men. Not those little office type Nancey boy's who like to eat bait. If you'll put raw fish in your mouth what else would you put in there? Why don't you try walking up to the nearest cow and taking a big ole bite out of it? I think you will find that much more rewarding than eating spring rolls. And think of the new found respect that all your co-workers will have for you. Why you may even decide to get a real job.
