i'm looking at a career in fashion - ultimately to work with major fashion magazines editing, projecting trends, or organizing the scheme or look of what is being advertised - i'm unsure which degree would be looked upon more favorably by employers. would fashion merchandising or fashion/design marketing be a wiser choice, especially since it determines which colleges i should be looking into.
Answers:
Probably neither. It sounds like you would do better to have a more general degree with a minor or concentration in fashion. Earning such a specific degree closes doors.
