How do you feel about tests?

I hate testing, for my job I had some pre test i had to take I didn't pass it, but they gave me a shot anyway and now I'm one of the best employees on the team. I don't think tests are the best way to gauge an employee's potential not mine at least. I love being relied on, and dependable and a perfectionist, I'm just not a good test taker it doesn't mean I can't excell in the workplace. How do you feel about tests?

Even if u dont like takin the tests i still would.I do agree that it is not the best way to chalenge and employee.I would rather have a dependable employee than an lazy employee that can take tests.Just because they no the answers dosent mean they'll use them.

I don't like tests either because I fail a lot. I don't like studying much for them, but when I do it seems like I forget it anyways. So that's what I think about tests.
Some test are needed for various jobs. Many technical jobs require a person very knowledgeable, and test must be given to sort out the idiots. Some test do not necessarily have a passing or failing grade, but show a person's common sense and creative ability. Different test show different things. Obviously your test showed something they liked since you got the job. Congrats.
