What are the advantages and disadvantages of having 2 part-time jobs as opposed to 1 full-time job?

Answers:
it's all about taxes. 2 part time jobs get taxed heavier. 1 full time job has lower taxes. also, you can get overtime if you work more than 8 hours in one day or more than 40 hours in one week. you have better chances of that happening in a full time job than you ever will in 2 part time jobs. also, if you get sick you have to call into 2 seperate bosses and go thru the hassle of missing time. also...scheduling can be a problem unless one job is willing to work around another job. and if you call in sick to the one who schedules around the other job they often think its because the other job asked you to work making the other job more important. it causes bad feelings. one last thing...if you want health benefits or any other benefits it is more likely to happen full time than part time. i hope this helps.
Advantages; A variety of work. Maybe some free hours between jobs?

Disadvantages; Maybe no Insurance. No Vacation. May have to work Holidays?
taxes and benifits
The benefits would seem the most immediate difference... things like sick days and vacation time. Also, a full-time worker is more likely to benefit from things like raises and promotions.

This is especially true if the employer is aware that you're "moonlighting" at another job, as this can be seen as not being really as dedicated to the company as you should be.
There are a lot of disadvantages when holding two part time jobs. You have to have a flex schedule. Once you know your schedule for your other job, you can tell your other boss to schedule you around the days you don't work. There will be a lot of taxes taken out. On the other hand, if you have a full time job, you can just work one job and have less taxes taken out.
