Has anyone ever had problems with ur paycheck?
Answer:
Labor law generally requires that paychecks be delivered within 7 days of the closing of the pay period. Overtime is not paid separately and is due at the same time. You need to contact your local labor board.
talk to the manger or contact the Better Business Bureau
I have direct deposit
I've had hours missing. Fixed that with a call to HR.
I've had someone else's court-ordered garnishments taken out of my check. Had to call the court for that one.
I've NEVER been overpaid. I keep asking, but they shoo me away.
No never
I would say you need to either speak with the manager, or talk with the HR director. I had issues before with various things, but when my manager went to talk with HR it was all straightened out. Depends on the company, and its policy on pay.
If you get no where and it happens often, you might want to talk to the better business bureau or your Local Union Rep if you are unionized.
Worst case scenario, you may need to talk to a lawyer if it happens often and is unresolved for more than 2 months.
That is terrible. Speak to the HR department or who ever does pay roll! Demand an explanation! That might do it!
If not - do you have written proof?
If you do then file complaint with the Department of labor.
If you don't have written proof you had better start keeping better records. You can file a complaint but it will be harder to prove on your part. I'd get your proof and if they mess up again file a complaint.
