What are some ways to make money without committing to something permanent?

I just finished up culinary school and it's time for me to get a real job. But, I can't quite yet because I am going to Thailand for two weeks on November 8th. I was planning on doing some one-time gigs that they have at the school, but I went in and they had nothing until after November 8th. What are some ways I can make money until then? All I can think of is baby sitting, and I can't even find anyone that needs it. I was thinking of selling stuff on ebay, but I have nothing to sell. What can I do?

Basically I sat around spamming this URL on youtube videos repeatedly, and did surveys and signed up for offers, and ended up making like $1,000 in a couple of months. You have to be persistant though. Also, posting your referral url on other message boards, or myspace helps. If you want to diversify there are other places like cashcrate that work pretty well, but I like treasuretrooper cause it's fun and, like I said, I got good results.
