What can I do with my biology degree, until I go back to grad school?

I need something that makes ok money, enough for modest rent. I would rather shoot myself in the head than lab tech again. What other options might be available to me? Should I just find a job and use my free time to volunteer to build up practical experience? I've applied to local museums, and that's the sort of thing I'm hoping to find. Any other ideas?

7. Science Writer (try contributing articles or doing research for health and science magazines)
