Is it easy being a loan officer?

Thinking about giving it a shot and just curious about anyone elses experience in the field.

I'm a loan officer for a Mortgage Broker and love my job.
It's new and different everyday and I get to meet and talk to different people.

The company I work for is great and my boss is super helpful and wants all of us to succeed.

When I started my first 2 loans did not go through and I was discouraged (both backed out because they were required to pay for appraisal, it was their only out of pocket expense we cover closing costs) , but I stuck with it and have closed many loans since then.

They pay is great and is commission only, but I guess that makes you want to work even harder to "close" a loan.
