I do I tell Unemployment I got a new job?

I lived off unemployment benefits for 6 months through July 2006 and then my balance ran out. In August I was hired at a job that I'm now leaving for a new one that starts next week. However, Unemployment has been trying to contact me to renew me for 6 more months- and also contact the employer that had let me go.
My question is how do I tell them Ive had a job for two months since my benefits expired? The reason I didnt call them to let them know I was getting a job is because by the time I got the job my allowance had expired so I wasn't getting any more money anyways. What should I do?

Answer:
Just return the form or the phone call and tell them you do not need to renew. If you are working in a W2 situation, they would know if they looked at your info, but they are just in a beuracratic holding pattern until you check the "done" box, so to speak.

Peace!
Call them now and let them know. Good Luck! :)
I hope you're not collecting at the moment, it'll bite you in the butt if you are. Tell them ASAP.
be thankful you have another job
just tell them " I have a job.. thank you"
Did you contact them when you started working to let them know that is one thing that is totally necessary. letting them know you were working then get reinstated when you weren't now you have to call again with the dates that you were working not working and let them know you are about to work again and you do not need it at the moment.
Lucky you, now if I could find one. Congrats.
Sorry to tell you this, but they already KNOW you have a job from the first time you received a paycheck and they collected Social Security from you. It's easy for them to track you. Just contact them, a letter or phone call. Get it over with.
It is the case of the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing. The departments that handles unemployment benefits and taxes has not communicated yet. But they will at the end of the year. The IRS will know if your unemployment benefits and employment has overlapped then you will owe them big. Tell them as soon as you can.

Best wishes.
