Tips or pointers for the Series 66 exam?
Answers:
If you passed the series 7 you should have little difficulty with the 66. I think I studied for a week after the taking the seven before taking the 63 and did fine. I realize the 66 includes the 65 so you may need a little longer. I think the key to all those tests is to be well rested, relaxed and prepared to work quickly and methodically. First instinct answers are usually correct but properly reading the entire question is the key. I would spend my time concentrating on laws, dates, time frames and characteristics of various investment products.
Almost all NASD and other regulatory exams concentrate on LAW, legal and ethical aspects. You don't need to spend a lot of time studying for this exam, just go over the highlights in your study material and you should do fine. Been there, done that for about every license there is out there.
