Need help on writing a cover letter!?

applying for a job at a car insurance company and need help on writing a cover letter...just looking for something that will sound good

In regard to the above position, please find attached my....(whatever you are sending) for your attention.

I am available for an interview at your convenience (if you are, otherwise state dates).

Keep it short, simple and to the point..sell yourself in your c.v. or on the application form. hope this is useful.good luck!
I have enclosed (attached) my resume in reply to your posting(advertised) position for the insurance ________ position. I have experience in__________________ . Thank you for your consideration.

This is the one I use because people who do the hiring dont really read them anyway. Keep it short.
1. Do you have a resume?
2. If not you do not need a cover letter!
Cover letter to go w/resume: " Gentlemen: Thank you for granting me this opportunity to interview for _______position. I have attached a copy of my resume for your perusal. Personal references will be furnished upon written request. Sincerely yours etc etc. " Keep it short and sweet. No one wants to read long letters in this high tech world. Good Luck
