It's quite easy .I get plastered most night but it's quite costly
Self employed you will make a real good living.
Good for you, take the plunge.I hope you make lots of money.
You could start of with this and then maybe get into tiling as well, that way you could get work off plumbers etc contracted to work on kitchens and bathrooms as well as Joe Public.
take you more than a few weeks to become a plasterer, but there is plenty of work and good pay for good plasterers in UK.
If your considering a trade for your future.
Plasterers are always going to be needed but to get fully qualified, y will need to do an apprentice 2 year course so y can be government registered.
You need to talk to your local job centre or training adviser and they can tell y the details y need.
Believe me, a 2week course is a waste of money and y are not qualified after.
Good luck.
Two things you might want to think about are what it does to your lungs and the general effect (if any) of migrants from poorer countries on wages in the building industry (i.e. downwards).
Just an idea.
If your good then you will get paid quite well.
My friend is 26 and he earns £40,000 per year. However he has an excellent reputation and contracts alot. He has been plastering since he was 18.
Im considering the same.hopefully multiskilling with tiling and im looking courses myself but its difficult as i need to keep my current job to pay the mortgage etc..i need to do it as this place is sending me daft..
Dont ever work nights unless in an emegency. then again it does free up time in the day.
no gcse then?
