What are the duties, training required, cost of training and starting sallary of a RN in the ER?
Answer:
You need to talk to a nurse or RN that is currently working in the ER and see what they make. That of course does not mean you will make that much ever just that they currently do.
Try google or mosterdotcom and look under ER nursing jobs and see what the requirements are and what they pay. Yahoo is not a good place to get your homework assignments done.

Try salary.com for pay. The pay really depends on what state you are in and what kind of differentials and bonuses are offered. You could always call the HR dept of a local hospital or look at the want ads for ER nurses. Training for an RN is an associates degree or higher. Most new grad RN's will go through a 6-8 week training program through the hospital they decide to work for.
