What is more profitable, medical billing and coding or medical transcription?

I am not sure which one would be more rewarding (financially and personally). I'd like to hear what others have to say. Please help I am looking to get into one of them Real soon.

I'm not in either field, but I know people who are. I know that the transcription pays more if you work out of your home. Where as the billing and coding may pay $8/hour in a doctors office.
coding would make more money and i think it would be overall a lot more fun. transcription is a bunch of typing (coding is also, but not nearly as much.) good luck.
Medical Transcription. However sometimes that is not a real social interacting job you pretty listen to doctors tapes of what the treated a person for and type it up. Not much peronal interaction. If you are looking for more personal interaction I would go with one of the others.
