Serious question about my employment in Michigan ! HELP !!?

Unlike most people in Michigan, I have 2 jobs, both of which pay very well. My problem is this..

My full time job is great and all, with the best part being that it is VERY stable. No worries about layoff, termination, etc.etc.etc.

My other job is now asking me to come aboard full time, which would require me to quit the other job. This job will pay me slightly more than I make now within the next 6 months, and afterward, pay me in the low-mid 6 figures...some. around 125,000 plus bonus', totalling around 200k plus..The BIGGEST issue with this job is that I have a gut feeling that it will be MUCH, MUCH less stable.anyone in Michigan knows that stability right now it PRICELESS !

WHAT 2 DO ?? !

Answer:
I think you answered your own question with the words "less stable". I live in Michigan and know the disappearing job market. They are dangling a carrot in front of you and after you bite, they will take it away. I think you already knew that.

Stick with what you know. Good Luck and be happy you're employed!
I don't live in Michigan but, it sounds like your second job is sales based. Is your first job sales based also? If not, I would stick with the first job. Sales based jobs have everything to do with the economy and therefor subject to ups and downs.

As you said a stable job that also pays well is Priceless. Unless you can afford to take a gamble I would stick with the stable job.
How old are you? What are your responsibilities? If you are in your 20's or 30's and single, then go for the second job. If it collapses, it shouldn't be that hard to find another. If you're older or supporting a family, then think about sticking with the more stable position.

What's the matter? Don't you believe Jenny when she says we'll be blown away in five years?
I'm sure you have heard of the expression "You can't win if you don't gamble." Phooey! There is more to life than money. I have been in both situations (good money but always wondering how long it will last; less money but content in the knowledge that I enjoy my job and it will be around for a long time.) I would stick with the security. Good luck.
