Do NOT give her the account number. It is a fraud. Unless you can verify her identity by seeing her in person, do not give your bank account to another person. Ask your parents, teachers, or colleagues for more information on frauds on the Internet.

Never EVER give out any financial information such as account numbers or passwords/pin numbers to anyone, and in particualr not to anyone who emails or phones you. This is a scam and they are after your information so they can drain your bank account, not share money with you! No reputable financial organization will ever ask you for account information in such a manner.

Avoid answering such mails from Africans. There is no proof that she is telling the truth. They are out to rob you.

Of course its a fraud scam otherwise we'd all be asking innocent victims to give us their bank account details so that we can take their money and disappear.
Let her revel in the fact that her husband is dead. But don't fall victim to the cries of an innocent who has alternative motives.
