Do you think I should find another job?

I've been with this company for 3yrs. When I first started I was told that I'd grow with the company. At first I was poorly judged on my leadership, boss said it was something I needed to work on; now I get warnings for trying to take leadership. I’m constantly judged poorly on my lack of knowledge and told that’ll come with more time, but I know I am more qualified to do more than what I have been. My boss has used intimidation with me & later denied it. He isn't letting me step out from under his thumb, stopped challenging me a long time ago, keeps adding more rules, taking away responsibilities & not acknowledging any of the work I do. If disagree with boss even about how I think I've been doing I get reprimanded for my attitude & get lectured. My attempts at showing initiative at getting a higher position have either failed, been chalked-up as useless nothing or a mistake in letting me. Nothing I do anymore is ever right/good enough & what I do wrong is emphasized.

Answer:
I think that you should get another job. If not for you, your boss sounds psychotic. While everyone has bosses like this, it really sucks. Sorry.
