How hard/easy is it to get a good paying job with benefits in Texas?

Answer:
1) Texas is NOT the South. Some folks need to get their "facts" straight.
2) If you've got the skills, it's easy. Just look in the right places.
3) Getting a job is easy. Keeping it is another story. Can you say "outsourcing"?
omg get out the south it is not safe
What is your craft or profession?
It depends on your job history and educational background.

If those are pretty good then it's pretty much guaranteed. If not there are plants that you can work at that offer pretty good pay and benefits. And then you could always go to a trade school.
easy, i live in texas and i get 150,000 annually as a doctor
I'm about to try to find out. I sneaking away from my Texas employer to find one that actually has policies of any kind at all. Benefits would be just too good to be true.

And as touchy as that pup above me seems, they are real fussy here about being called SOUTHWEST if you aren't just going to call them the Republic of Texas.
