How to approach my boss about returning to my job? (please read details)?
Answer:
You need to call him, and keep calling him, just casually say hey when do you want me to start- He will see that your serious about working- that's all they really care about
besides it can't hurt- the worst that can happen is that he says he doesnt need you
sounds like he doesn't need you dude
dont wait - just follow up with a gentle reminder. If he doesn't need you, you can move on. if he does, and just forgot, that will get you right back - either way - be proactive.
You can call to remind him but it is likely he filled your position over the summer and that person will now keep it.
Lesson here is to not leave your job for 3 months. Good luck finding an entry level job.
just go ask him.
u have nothin to lose
Go back to see him again. Persistence pays off.
I would follow up with him..
as soon as you left he got someone new. now you want to work again but there is no job for you. you should probably look elsewhere, this isn't happening. let this be a lesson.
I think your approach of asking him when he wants you to come in sound good.
ask him, flat out. Call him and say "I was calling because i haven't heard from you about returning to work. I wanted to find out if the hours i gave you would cover what you were looking for and when i could possibly be put on the schedule." don't be timid, bosses don't like that sort of thing.
