I'm going to a job interview today, should I wear a suit or just shirt and tie?

It's going to be a part time job, nothing extravagant, but still, I want to wear what's right.

Answer:
Always wear a suit. It makes the best impression, and you want to be remembered.

I've interviewed many men and women over the years, and I still don't get why people who want jobs dress with indifference. Always dress like you own the place.
For a part time job, a shirt and tie should be fine. Good Luck!
Jacket, shirt and tie is always appreciated.
If it's a part time job at a pretty big corporate firm, I'd still wear a suit.

I always err on the side of caution and wear a suit to job interviews - but I've always interviewed at corporate firms (of all sizes) Once I've done the interview, then I have one of my questions as "what is the dress code?" (most of the time, though I've found that the employer will provide that info). So then I know when I get the job, I do (or do not) have to wear a suit to work.

But again, my advice is to dress a step up from the normal dress code at that particular establishment. If they're a shorts and T-shirt kind of company, come business casual. If they're a business casual company, come in a suit. It just projects a better impression.
Wear anything that makes you feel confident and good. Always think that when you are going to a job interview ,you are like selling your self. Make the best of what you have always.
Go naked, show them yu have nothing to hide!!
A suit is a sign of respect for yourself and the interviewer. Shined shoes are also very important.
shirt and tie should be fine
you still want to look your best,it gives them something to say about how you look and makes you seem to be smart like you already are.
good luck today.
I would go by what the other employees are wearing as a guide.
well tom.. i hope you researched the company your appling for? if they where uniforms then a shirt with out a tie should be fine just dress nicely
if people that work there wear jeans then you would be fine where jeans! however if the peopel there are all business professionals like sales teams then dress your best!
:)
Good luck
I interview for my division and would recommend always wearing a suit and tie because you only have one chance to make a good impression. Wearing a suit and tie shows you cared enough to make an effort.
If it's a part time job, you don't want to over dress. Just a neatly ironed long sleeve shirt will be appropriate. For more interview tips, you could visit:
