Is it possible to get a job at a bakery without experience?

keep on trying. try at ur local Morrisons or Tescos, or anyother chain superstore. mention you interest in pastry arts and ask if you could specifically train in the bakery. Im sure that with patience and determination you will find what you are looking for. by the way always make it clear that you are very eager and willing to learn new things, you coyuld even offer to work voluntary for a few shifts/days if you are in a situation where you would be able to do this.
Keep trying. You might try a large grocery chain that has bakeries in their stores.
You can absolutely be hired as a baker without experience. One of the best places to start in my opinion is Panera. Panera Bread will ordinarily hire you to be trained for 6 weeks.
After training you will work under a team of expert bakers for a set period of time before becoming an "expert baker" yourself.
All in all Panera would be a wonderful place to start.
My first job was in a bakery. Just let them know how interested you are in the position. Tell them your future plans, too.
You need to start off at a grocery store bakery...they train. i have been in the bakery at my store for 6 years. it would not hurt to go out and ask your local store bakery for an opening. then you can go onto other ventures....

Stage! It is a french term for apprentice. Explain your situation and ask them if you can work with them for a few days or weeks for free so that you can see what it is like. They may be surprised or taken back by the fact that someone is asking to work for free, but be persistent.
If they don't accept you in a bakery then go to a restaurant with a pastry chef who has been to school. They will more than likely be happy to have free kitchen help. They may not give you the most important jobs to begin with but if you watch what is going on around you and ask questions, you will be surprised how much you can learn.
I suggest going to the best restaurants in your area. If you are going to work for free then you should at least have something great to put on your resume.

Usually you can get some culinary skills by working in fast food joints, that would help you better, you can flip burgers for awhile, then put on your resume I worked at Mickey D's as chef flipping burgers. :/ Hope that helps
