Ahhh! its so annoying !?
Answer:
Unfortunately that's just the way it is. Employers will generally only take on people they think who will get on with the rest of the workforce. Sometimes this means someone who may do the job better gets overlooked for one reason or another. Taking on family members only is wrong though, this should not be allowed.
the questions r designed to test your patience and morality, stupid maybe, but essential to some companies xx good luck with your job hunting, no doubt you will get there in the end xx
The trick is to say what you know they want to hear.
Thats life.
Yes unfair if that is indeed the case, which I am not totally sure. Another thing that you have to make absolute sure about is that you use the complete proper grammar, I know that you are online etc., but for instance you wrote "its", instead of "it's". I don't mind, hardly a mistake at all, but employers notice such things.
Though I don't think you are totally right about most places employing family members. I wouldn't want to work with my family, keep things seperate, never mix business and pleasure.
Good luck, if you have bothered to try your best and get good qualifications as a result then you deserve a job, just perhaps not of the kind that you are looking for?
Companies have become much more selective before hiring someone than they used to be. This is because it is so much harder, and more expensive to fire an employee that was a poor hire.
A job is not a guaranteed right, and a work environment is not a democracy. Owners are free to hire anyone they wish, and of course they are going to hire a loved one before a stranger. That is human nature.
If you seriously want employment, I suggest you rethink your approach. Being hired requires that you demonstrate a strong work ethic, and a keen desire for the job. A good vibrant cheery disposition helps too.
By answering questions they are testing you for something they are looking for in a person. By not answering and just skipping something they look at you that you don't care. Everything is important on an application even if you put N/A in it. This way they tested you to make sure you read everything. I just went through job hunting and beleive me a saw a lot of dumb questions out there just to make sure a person reads everything.
