When I was working in retail just a few short months ago, I had just given my two weeks notice. Almost everyone else had quit too and the store was really short-staffed, and our district manager, who normally only calls when she has something to complain about, made a special call to tell me how impressed she was with my sales the previous day. She'd never EVER done that before, only came down on us for not having good sales, but I guess it was major kiss up time lol.
