Types of college majors that might lead into a career in Concept Art?

Answer:
Be an Art major with an emphasis in illustration. Concept art is usually highly detailed illustrations.
I assume you mean conceptual art. If so, you don't need a degree.just produce conceptual art. If you think you need a degree (or just want one) I suggest a fine art degree (BFA and MFA) in one of the studio arts.probably painting or sculpture. The "craft" areas like metals, fibers, and ceramics tend to be less conceptual as a rule.though there are exceptions. You could also study art history with an emphasis in modernism, postmodernism, and theories of contemporary art. Drawing and/or illustration tends to be more "formal" than "conceptual."
