I'm trying to become wealthy the hard way, by working my @ss off. i need help.?

i don't know the first thing about business or marketing. i can illustrate, animate, edit photos and videos- all school taught of course. i am in the process of earning my degree and would like some suggestions, in detail if possible, from experienced wealthy people, on the first thing i should do out of college. what steps should i take to climb this tall, tall ladder to success? i've got the drive and talent i just need direction.

Is there an easy way to become wealthy?
Learn basic accounting.

Why? Because business revolves around being able to quantify success, measure progress, identify when you are on course (or off course), spot opportunities ahead of time, etc.

And the first rule of business? It's all measured by the bottom line.

Sounds like you have drive, passion and creativity. There are a lot of salespeople who can't count. There are lot of marketing 'experts' who can't count. If you learn how big business "counts" - you can take the native passion and acquired skills and rise head and shoulders above your competition.

Let them waste time and resources on flashy advertising. Let them overpay salespeople. But if you know how to keep, analyze and interpret your books - you'll go far.
