My coworker is fat and doesnt do any work what do I do?

My co-worker is rather large about 350 pounds. He doen’t do any work and it’s pissing me off. I work for the state department in dc in shipping and receiving all we have to do is receive the packages I handle UPS and he does Fed Ex. I do my work as soon as it comes in around 9:15 he won’t do his share. He takes breaks all day and runs his mouth to various people in the building. I have told my contracting office who told my boss but they won’t fire him. I’m looking for another job but I haven’t had much luck. I dread coming to work sometimes. I actually cried yesterday when I thought about having to come in. WHAT DO I DO PLEASE HELP!!

Answer:
First off stop your blubbering. Second tell the fat peice of s hit that your going to kick his fat a ss if he doesn't get to work. if he laughs at you then go and get a broom handle and swing away at his fat skull. after a few blows to the cranium he might get your point.
Grin and bear it!! Some people are like this.they aren't about to go away.
Bring in some cupcakes everyday and tell him you'll give them to him if he does his work. Since he is fat, he won't be able to resist the sugary goodness.
yes, I agree.

Treat him to quarter pounders with cheese every day for a month and hope he dies of a heart attack after 30 days.
If i were u i wouldnt worry so much about him cuz u know what your doing your job and he basically isnt and for so much slacking he'll get caught sooner or later and they'll fire him !
Just forget him and do your work. If they ar enot making you do it forget about him hes not worth wasteing your time for and eventually he will say the wrong thing to the wrong person and get canned anyways. Chances are to that they have to keep him on for some stupid reason. there are laws that protect the stupid people of this world just think of all the wallmart workers
Mann I have to agree with Jay_spence and Aces N 8's!! Mann he even gave you a website to go to.HAHA LOL Keep up the good advice!!
You do your work and don't pay any attention to him.

You do UPS. Don't touch the FedEx. That is his job.

It's really none of your business, and you are making yourself miserable over something that is none of your concern.

And his weight is none of your business either.
I understand your frustration, however, you didn't state whether you have to pick up the "Slacker's" slack. If you have individually assigned tasks, and are not responsible for all of the shipments, just do your work, and don't worry about him. If his FedEx doesn't get sent out it will become obvious to everyone that he's not performing. If you are required to do the tasks he fails to complete, and he is still getting credit for them, I suggest that you approach the problem in a different manner. The first task is document, document, document. Keep a log of the incidents, for at least 60-90 days. Log dates, times and what happened, ie: Number of packages, where sent, extra time you devoted to keeping the packages moving, and consequences to you personally (missed lunch or break, etc.) Never go over the head of your direct supervisor to make a complaint about a problem or co-worker. Give your next in command a chance to do his or her job. Calmly present the documentation and request that the situation be looked into. DO NOT WHINE!! DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES DEMAND THAT THE PERSON BE FIRED! That is not your decision to make. Just present the evidence to your direct supervisor, and wait..it may take some time for the "Brass" to make a decision to discipline of terminate this employee. Follow up in a couple of weeks if the problem persists, and let your supervisor know that you are still keeping logs, adding your report to him or her to your notes. Unfortunately, some supervisors are reluctant to confront employees about performance or anythin else. They are not doing their job, and if and when you have to proceed up the chain of command, you will have evidence, and not just whining. If your supervisor doesn't perform, and you handle this professionally, maybe you will be stepping into his/her shoes. Hope this helps. P.S. Be sure that you are not just "Fat Bashing".. his size really has no bearing on his performance.
maybe go the human rescource and explain that you talked to the mgr and they did nothing
